Painful skin to the touch, could also suggest a dietary problem, instead of a mental-issue.
Things like too much yeast(mostly bread), too little full-fats(not enough dairy/cheese/fatty-meat), or too little sugars can cause an endorphins imbalance, and that will result in the pains you're describing too.
It's very hard, when you're working on 1 set of problems, but with every problem, it's good to take a hollistic approach, acknowledging both the mind, and the body.
There is likely some somatism occurring with you, but this doesn't make you delusional , crazy, or otherwise mentally defunct.
Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and other therapists and mental health professionals are not trained to address your physical condition. The sad fact is once you go to them for help for emotional and mental issues -- any other issue that may come up that doesn't have an OBVIOUS correlating cause often just gets lumped into your 'condition'.
Example: You get dx'ed with Depression and Generalized Anxiety. You also have symptoms of knee pain and perhaps some lower back pain. They then say,.. well logically sense you are depresssed, clinically, the pain you are experiencing is a deductive quality of your depression.
Which is a dangerous and incorrect manner in addressing a patient.
In your case,.. if simple touch is aggrivating your nerves, though tactile feedback (aka: touch) -- then it sounds like you have whatever mental issues that have been logically discussed in therapy but ALSO a physical condition that needs to be addressed separate from your mental illness.
Very likely your condition is Fibromyalgia. Which is linked to Major Depression and Generalized Anxiety. They go hand in hand,..
Now, there are medications to treat Fibromyalgia that are just recently being labeled for that use. There is nothing ground breaking so far (alot of research is going to bring better treatments down the road) but for now.. A diagnosis of Fibromyalgia is one of exclusion. Meaning the doctor needs to physically take your history, your chief complaints, run a battery of tests,.. over time.. try several modes of treatment and only when most other reasonable PHYSICAL explanations are ruled out does a Dx of Fibromyalgia become available. Make sense? We are gaining more knowledge on this day by day, but it takes a long time to spread to the masses of the medical profession. Just 10 years ago Fibromyalgia was thought to be a purely somatic illness that generally was the product of "mental" , if you will, women. As with most things of this thought pattern, it is eventually justified with real research to prove it is a 'real' , non mental origin, illness.

Are you a hypochondriac, .. I don't know. By the expression of your question you seem very reasonable and not 'overly' concerned.. or irrationally expressing your issues. So going by this alone.. I would say no. However, even if you ARE a hypochondriac, with health anxiety,.. it doesn't mean you are exempt from ALL real health issues.
The derealization is tricky mental problem to tackle, but it needs constant and regular therapy (talk therapy) with a real attempt on your part to engage in regular exercise (even if it is just daily walks) and getting 'out there' as much as possible to get your mind off things as much as possible. Even if you are out, feel anxious, and think it isn't helping... over time it will. Also don't under-estimate the power of regular exercise. The more rigorous and regular you can manage it, the more beneficial it will become over time. Don't expect miracles after exercising once, or even for a week or two. But over periods of time you will see not only your physical body improve but your well being as well. There is a strong link between the mind and body.
Take care,
You could be in pain a long time b4 they 'discover' what is 'wrong' with you. So make sure you see a hormone expert to test them properly eg thyroidpower.com thehallcentervenice.com and let someone test your vitamin/mineral , food allergies, blood sugar A1C test and the like.
Get healthy.
I think any doctor who tells a patient with fibromayalgia to 'exercise' should be shot on the spot.
Get a hand held TENS unit if your pain gets worse.
No, you are not crazy. Doctors have always treated women this way, they are morons when it comes to healing anythiing., or understanding it.
