Why do I send an email very impulsivly when I'm angry?
I never give myself time to cool off before sending it and then when I email I tend to spill my guts out with my frustrations. And then shortly after that I'm cooled off I regret sending the email
Well if this person truely wronged you , no matter how big, no matter how small, dont ever regret saying how you truely feel. It seems that you bottle things up way too much and then you wind up blowing up like a bubble. However, on the other side of that token, a lot of people avoid conflict or consequences for their actions as well and hide from you when they know they wronged you and in that case, writing an email is very good because they can't hide from an email. Just be careful you don't say anything that can legally be held against you and don't threaten anyone.
One trick I always do before I send an email like that is to send it to myself first. See how you feel after that. Maybe take some time after writing that email and come back to it and still say how you feel, but you can tone it down a little bit if it makes you feel better.
I do this all the time. It's an issue of self control. Writing the email itself can be very therapudic but you should remember the consequences before you press send. Trust me. I've burned some bridges.
