Shivers aren't always bad. Sometimes they can be good. I get shivers when my boyfriend kisses me sometimes because he makes me nervous and shy in a good kind of way(i also get a nervous giggle and sometimes my face gets all red) And it's like that first kiss adrenaline shiver but kisses can give you that shiver even way into the relationship not just the first kiss. Actually sometimes the more you love the person the more shivers you get. I didn't understand it at first either and was also wondering why I would shiver like that I thought something was wrong with me. But once I let myself try not to see it as an unpleasant thing it didn't bother me anymore and I learned to control it a little. I would suggest telling him "hey you know whenever you kiss me I get shivers. But it's good feelings that cause the shivers." So he's not startled if he feels you shiver and so he doesn't think he's done anything wrong with the kissing.
