It can be on how you breath. The best way is to inhale with your nose, and exhale with your mouth. If you're doing that, then you are probably trying to run at a pace your body cannot keep up with.
If you snore heavily at night, your lungs may have taken some damage. I'd have a doctor look into it if this is a recent development.
Also, if you haven't run for a long time, your lungs just may not be used to taking in so much air... this may be a question of simple conditioning. Three or so more runs may shed some light on this.

Do it more often and try drinking lots of water
bicycling(ride a bike) to improve this
