Why do women date douchebags?

All the girls I've dated have either been friends or someone I met through a friend. In other words, having wanted to "get with" someone for reasons not just physical. Granted, this means finding a girlfriend or getting laid takes significantly more time and patience, but at least you're not a sh*tty and shallow person for it.

I think is because girls want the feeling of being pretty, being attractive. Meeting a guy in bar can have that effect, (cause we don't think that what they really want is to bed with us) they make us feel the most beautiful in the bar/club... Plus girls have a thing about dating bad boys, thinking they can change them, they'll be the ones to make them a nice guy!

Having said that, I do think sometimes it works, and some guys after the initial contact, might want to get to know the girl, and find out he likes her!

I do think the best way to date girls is to date someone you know, and like for her personality, and enjoy her company. Its the real of knowing someone. In general is not a good think to meet guys/girls in clubs, bars, etc..

All of your friends were once people you didn't know. There is nothing wrong with meeting a girl/guy in a bar, at a club, or at a party. The intent shouldn't be to bed them, however. If you meet someone at a club and go on a few dates, then there's nothing wrong with that. The answer as to why women are more likely to date guys who approach them in these settings is because of the confidence it requires. Self-assured men are more attractive to women. There is nothing more to it than that.

Just because a girl is hot, it doesn't mean she's searching for a good boyfriend. It depends on who she is. If she's a b*tch, or if she's immature, then she won't be making great choices. Nice guys should be looking for a girl that is compatible, with similar values. Who cares what the hot girls are doing? If "hot chick" is all a guy is looking for, then he's going to have some issues. Just because a chick is hot, it doesn't mean she's a great girlfriend.
