Wow ! This is a complex situation. The situation needs you to give it more time so that things settle down a little bit between you two & in your heads also. Give the girl some time to think things over & come to some sort of a conclusion/solution from her side, also, you should keep in touch with her closest friend & try to take out or squeeze out as much information from them as possible. Always act positively & never react irritatedly towards the girl in such a situation. Remember, if you are in a dilemma so is she. Another point of caution is that you should not be too eager to jump into conclusions just like that. Also, do give an ear to the first person who made a reply to your question, he has got a point also.

This is a question with another question in it. I mean, if she did said that she wants to be friends, then she may in fact just want to be friends. But if you feel different otherwise, then something else has to be involved. Also, the reason that she may be nervous is because she doesn't know how you approached it. I mean, if you handled it differently.
PS: Find out first shorty. Look for some evidence suggesting that she in fact likes you. You don't want to put assumptions out there.....
I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet, but she could also be acting wierd if she knows you like her, and doesn't want to cross the bounderies to give off mixed signals
