Just sent back a broken Ipod touch 2nd gen, and got a new one sent by apple. When i got it after i synced for the first time there were evenly placed lines through the screen, they were purple at first but now blue. Wierd.

I tried restoring and resseting but no joy.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

It is a new Ipod touch 2nd gen and all syncing etc was normal.
