My xbox 360 got the RROD (3 red lights). It was like that for a few hours. Then when I turned it back on I could get to the dashboard but the console won't play any discs.
If I submit it to Microsoft's warranty service saying I got the 3 red lights and send it in for repair, are they going to repair it for free or will they charge me?
Update:I want to make it more clear: I don't have the 3 red rings anymore. When I had the 3 rings, I couldn't even get to the dashboard. Now I can get to the dashboard but can't play discs.

Yes they will fix it because the 360 notes every time it red rings. The same thing happened to my first one where it red ringed but then stopped. They told me that and they replaced it for free.
If you had the 360 for less than 3 years and it's the RROD, then MS will fix it for free. If you had the 360 for more than 3 years, then MS will fix it for a fee.
