Parker will end up hurt by Week 5 the latest, probably week 3. I'd steer clear of him but pick-up Mendenhall really late in the draft. He'll be starting before you know it and you'll have drafted him in round 12.
And then instead of drafting "fast" Willie Parker, you can draft someone that can fill another need or atleast score for you.
More than likely he will be the starter. The only way he will lose his starting position is if one of the other running backs have a better preseason and impress the coaches.

Yes. He will be the starter he probably wont start during preseason ebcuase thye dont want to risk him getting injured.
i think he will... but as soon as he feels less than 100% he won't... so keep an eye for the injury updates.
