windows 7 not genuine?
ok i got the windows 7 installation disc and serial key from my mom, put it all on my laptop, and as usual at the end of the installation it asks you to put in the serial, well i did that and it said it was a working key...well then like 4 hours later after i had been on my laptop for awhile, i closed the internet and my desktop background was gone and it said "this copy of windows is not genuine" this shouldnt be happening, the windows 7 package my mom bought allows the key to be used on 3 computers, it said it was all good...some1 please help

How many times has your mom installed windows? Usually it can only be used 3 times. If it hasn't been used, you can call Microsoft to get it fixed or, if possible, re-enter it and see if it was just a typo.
