I have an asus g75vw, but that isn't important. my friend, apparently trolling me borrowed my pc and when i got it back said he had installed some minecraft op forcer, ahh ok. I sensed some BS lurking, so i did a scan with malwarebytes anti-malware. it found the application and said is was a virus, i removed it, but now when i restart or boot my pc it says rundll32.exe - system error, miner.dll is missing, and some **** about reinstalling it to fix it. I then went into winsxs and found 2 rundll32.exe's one exactly 1 mb smaller that the other, and 2 rundll32.exe.mui they are the same size. These are the paths of the files, so which one should i remove and how do i go about removing it.
rundll32.exe paths:
C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-rundll32_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_33fa4336c49b998b
C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-rundll32_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_d7dba7b30c3e2855
rundll32.exe.mui paths:
C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-rundll32.resources_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_en-us_a8c07467b315c2b8
C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-rundll32.resources_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_en-us_4ca1d8e3fab85182
I did a scan in the cmd to check if the file systems were good or something and it says all is well.
it also says the miner.dll is missing 2 times when my pc boots or restarts, as in 2 error massages.
i also recently got dead island riptide, and i have a monster pc and im getting 20 fps on the lowest settings, crysis 3 was also acting up, it went away for a while, then it came back again with the awfull lag, i also noticed while running crysis 3 it was kinda laggy on the desktop.
I do want to get a new laptop, but that isn't really an option with the money the way it is.
cheers, Julian

The RunDLL32.exe files are fine. What's happened is that MBAM deleted the malware (miner.DLL), but the registry entry that runs the DLL on startup is still present.
Download Mike Lin's Startup Control Panel (standalone EXE version).
http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
Extract the program from the ZIP file, then run it. Click and drag the left and right edges of the window to expand it.
Click the HKCU / Run tab. Double-click the separator to the right of Path to view the entire command line.
If any line includes "Miner.DLL", clear the checkbox at the left. Close the program.
Run Startup.exe as Administrator and expand the window. Click the HKLM tab and expand the Path column.
If any line includes "Miner.DLL", clear the checkbox at the left. Close the program.
The startup error should no longer occur.
you ought to improve your video card to play modern image video games. Your processor is large for abode windows 7 x64 - that can run on lots decrease performing CPUs i'm protecting off on upgrading to Win7 till I also have a want for it. i'm discovering that no longer all my previous contraptions have Win7 (or x64 of any style) drivers available.
