There are many advantages to knowing your own learning style/s. I would suggest you do some research on Gardner's Multiple Intelligences (if you haven't already done so) to help with your assignment. There is heaps of information about this on the net, and also quiz-type websites available to help people determine their own individual learning styles (different questions for adults & children); many list typical careers that involve those areas at the end, which could of benefit some people. I agree with previous answer, the only disadvantage that I could see would be if an individual were to then create a barrier towards other styles - ie 'I'm an auditory learner, therefore I won't do well in kinaesthetic activities'. You don't say what the assignment is for, so I don't know if it is helpful or not, but I quite like the Gardner/Bloom ( or Anderson's) matrix as a planning tool to cater for multiple intelligences/diverse learning styles/sensory learning/levels of thinking in the classroom - there are many templates available on the internet, and many advantages to using this kind of tool. Good luck!
work is simply work......does pay u ,does make u happy and sometimes u just happen to hate it....y? well its bcoz we are human.
let me talk about the disadvantages first starting with the toughest one, which for sure is going to be full time work because it just means what it reads....software freakies in india finish their btech with awarded dream jobs(as they call it) enter into their deadliest part of life...like working hard for 12 -15 hours a day with....stupid food or sometimes no food.....stinking family atmosphere...no matter who u are, u will stress out very soon...the advantage , ofcourse huge bank balance. well this maybe the only case with online 24 hrs software job epidemic.....the rest i think is a mere survival measure.....people do job for their basic living....without any bananas, apples or any other fruits. A contract work is sometimes dreadly bcoz it means finishing a specific work at the right time ,but it doesnt offer fruits like software .finally part time jobs.......they are really helpfull for those with any other job and is looking for a turning point in his/her life by shift'g a job or continue'g his/her studies..it posses no harmness provided the job atmosphere is not miserable
