Ok so a week and a half ago i found out i was dilated to 2cm. i have been very sick for the last week. sinus infection, ear infection and bad flu symptoms. Yesterday i realized that for the last few days my undies have been wet and all i have had was clear thicker discharge. today i woke up and have a yellowish more yellow than green thicker discharge but not everytime i go to the bathroom. now i'm getting cramps in my side but my belly isn't contracting they are low by my left leg. anyone ever had this and know what it is. i'm planning on going to the hospital but don't want to go if it's nothing.
Update:i can't hold down food or liquids. i think i'm getting dehydrated too.

Drink lots of fluids. Water, orange juice, powerade, anything. You need to hydrate yourself. I would call your doctor too, just incase. It could be absolutely nothing, but atleast that way you can rule out anything serious if you talk to your doctor. Call the hospitals labor and delivery and ask to speak to the doctor or nurse on duty (if your doctors office is closed today). Green thicker discharge, maybe your mucus plug? It can sometimes come out in pieces instead of all at once.
Oh and dehydration can cause you to have contractions too. SO maybe thats what that cramping is, mild contractions from being dehydrated... Go drink some water right now.
If you've already dilated, the discharge is probably your mucus plug, which you lose when your body gets ready for labor.
I'm not sure what the cramping is (perhaps sciatica, it's a problem I had all through my last pregnancy).... but I am extremely concerned about the dehydration. THAT problem can be very very devastating for your child! Make a doctor's appointment for sure, but don't hesitate to go to the OB at the hospital if you become lethargic from your dehydration.
Good luck hon!
I would call the hospital first (being it is saturday unless you have a doc that is open saturday) to see if they recommend you going into the ER or waiting until monday to call the doc.
Feel Better.
You have a vaginal infection - have you been on antibiotics for the other infections? - if so this could be the reason. It isn't an indication of early labour if that's what was worrying you. You poor thing - hope you're feeling better soon
yes, you need a doctor, and you need to hydrate yourself. today would be a good day to go...best of luck
