I am using a windows 7 home premium acer aspire 5750-6425.I have been getting the bsod often, and everyone says to disable bios caching and shading. I JUST reinstalled windows and i changed the sreen resolution, exited control panel then bsod. At first I thought this was a virus but it obviously cannot be. So, If someone could tell me where i should be to disable BIOS memory that would be great!

No you need to push f8(or what ever f key it is to get you to the safemode options) and select the option that does not restart on failure. This way if you BSOD you can look at the error code and write it down. From there you can google it and see hardware is causing the problem. Also under computer management look under the event viewer as it will give you any errors the computer is having. Lets hope it is just a bad stick of RAM since that is the cheapest. But it can be anything even the wifi adaptor so look up the errors before you start messing around with stuff like that.
