Roanapur? is it a real place?
my question my sound silly but i want to know if Roanapur is a real place in Thailand and if it is a real city what is it like I DON"T CARE if its not like black lagoon makes it out to be i just want to know

No Roanapur is a fictional city in Thailand.
While it is a fictional city, the map they use in the episode 4 of "Roberta´s blood trail" is real. I compared it with the area on google maps and located a town called Chanthaburi in the place the fictional Roanapur stands.
I´m aware that this is an old question, but since I just watched Black Lagoon and this one one of the top results, I bothered to answer it the best I could.
I wonder if Chanthaburi is anything like Roanapur. The fact that a town exists at this location is enought to make one curious ^^

Never heard of it either, and I've been in Thailad a while (like borne here). May be your spelling.
Again, I'm just messing about loading Iphone software and it takes about 15 trials before I can load it and it delete everything I had on the phone so I have to sync again, and it takes ages.
