8 weeks pregnant, spotting, diarrhea...miscarriage?
I'm 8 weeks pregnant.
I've been on progesterone for a few weeks or so now, mine was at 14.7 and they wanted it higher. I fell asleep last night and forgot to take my progesterone, I didn't think much of it.
during the night I had a sharp pain in my side, I thought maybe gas.
But today and yesterday I've been having diarrhea, when all I was before was constipated. I also noticed that I just started spotting when I wiped after peeing.
I'm kind of worried, could I be having a miscarriage? My mother had 4.
Any thoughts? I have an appt. with my doctor tomorrow morning for an ultrasound, so I know I will find out then for sure if the baby is okay... but I'm worried now.
Update:Also, for the past week my lower back has been killing me.

It might not be a miscarriage. Keep us up to date.
Spotting is completely normal as is slight cramping. Normally in the first trimester of the pregnancy you will spot and sometimes have cramping. Now if you are in a lot of pain and you are bleeding uncontrollably, then those are signs of miscarriage, in which case you need to head to the ER asap.
the pain could be from being constapated and when your constipated sometimes loose liquidy stool is all that can get by. as far as the spotting it can be normal if you start bleeding more or start having bad period like crmps i would go into the er
spotting can be normal in a pregnancy. just watch for how much blood your loosing and if you start filling pads quickly go the ER. cramps could be from diarrhea.
