All right, I'm doing voice-acting for an online mini-show. However, my Microsoft Sound Recorder seems to record with tons of background noise I can't eliminate. I also need to speak rather loudly or it can't be heard, and using the "increase volume" tool only distorts it.
Now, I need some sort of sound recorder that's not as cheap as the one that comes with my computer. However, I can't use anything that isn't free or needs to be installed onto the hard drive.
Does anyone know of any way to record sound without a ton of staticy background noise?

For the final high quality, i'd advise utilising an MP3 gadget with a "line in" recorder. this facilitates a 2 way telephone jack to be plugged into the headphone jack of your computing gadget, which contains the sign on on your MP3 participant which then encodes it in MP3 format. you may then hook up the MP3 participant on your computing gadget by using utilising USB or Firewire to characteristic the information on your computing gadget! i elect to advise a Samsung. that's finished-featured, drag and drop able, does not inevitably choose it is packaged driving force and has an straight forward to apply interface.
