s(s-5) / (s-6)(s-5) * (s-6) / (s+5)
The (s-5)'s and the (s-6)'s cancel
s / s+5
2. 2x - 12 / 2x + 14 Factor first
2(x-6) / 2(x+7) The 2's cancel
(x-6) / (x+7) = C
3. x² + 4x - 5 / 1-x
(x+5)(x-1) / -1(x-1) The (x-1)'s cancel
(x+5) / -1 = -x - 5 or C
5. c² + 1
reciprocal = 1/c² + 1 or B
