Am I schizophrenic??
Ok so I've had them since I was 3! But they only come in my dreams! Some say it's no big deal but if it wasn't why would they keep happening???? I remember my first one.... I was little and it was dark and I walked into the kitchen for some water and music and voices were coming from over me!!!! I have dreams where I can only hear the voices and I try to ask for help but people ignore me and sometimes I'm just walking and a voice will say "YOUR LIFE IS HELL!" or scream my name! It's the worst dreams ever. My mom said "if you keep having these dreams we will have to send you to a mental hospital!" (idk of she was drunk or no! Haha) but yeah.... Could I be schizophrenic? Please help me

schizos have moments somewhat like that while their awake, if it's only in your sleep, then it could be normal. I have very scary and vivid dreams too, to the point where I wake up with tears in my eyes. Everyone's different, some have the weirdest dreams you could imagine and some don't dream at all. Some of the best authors in the world have gotten ideas for their award-winning novels from their dreams! (lol, fun fact) Something subconsciously could be scaring you though, I think you should find a therapist so you can find out what it is, Good luck! <3
Having dreams like that is a symptom on schizophrenia its where you're unsure if the dream really happened or not.But if the voices are making commands and warning you of harm or talking to you ,you really should see someone about this..theres a lot more to schizophrenia than just this one symptom you keep having im no doctor and neither is anyone else on Y!A so i would see a psychiatrist right away! have a talk with your mum about whats going on.And not all schizophrenics need to go to the mental hospital for instance i never had to go and i'm schizophrenic but i'm well medicated so i can lead a happy normal life and you can too,if you get the help that you need good luck with everything!
You need to actually to a professional but that is "f" ed up of your mom! It sounds like you do have a problem and need some type of help but not someone threatening you or criticizing! I don't know if you are schizophrenic or anything else! Have you ever been abused or molested? I know for a fact that people don't recall those things in childhood and recall later and sometimes it does come out in dreams! Go get counseling sweetheart, pls!
