American / British "goodies" exchange... any ideas?
I live in the US and one of my best friends just moved to London. She misses so many foods from home that we decided to do a food exchange. I'm sending her stuff like hot sauce and other mexican foods (whatever travels well) and now she's asking what I want her to send me. I've been researching the internet, but England does not seem to have very many good food options. So I'm thinking it doesn't have to be food, just anything special that I can't get here.
To anyone who knows London; any ideas on cool/yummy stuff that we can't get here in the US that will travel well?

I lived in the UK for 4 years. What I missed the most was American restaurant food. So, a cookbook containing restaurant copycat recipes would be the best gift you can give! I got one from the link below and it got me by. It has recipes from Olive Garden, Hooters, Red Lobster, Houston's, Sizzler, Joe's Crab Shack, TGI Friday's, McDonalds, etc.

they got some good chocolate - Cadbury is made there. and also Weetabix is soooo good if you are a cereal eater and its healthy. oohhh man i need to go get some weetabix like now.
their fish/chips, shepherds pies, or exotic puddings wouldnt make the flight so you cant really have her send you that. i think chocolate might be your best bet...but maybe not now in the middle of summer
maybe certain Tea or beer that you cant get here
