to be president you have to prove citizenship...that includes being born by both mother and father being of U.S. citizenship....isn't there a certain criteria that has to be met to become president?
Update:Only native-born U.S. citizens (or those born abroad, but only to parents who were both citizens of the U.S.) may be president of the United States

Obama's father was not a citizen. Obama however is a citizen born in The U.S. (or so he claims) that in itself satisfies the constitutional requirements.
Yes, his mom is/was. As far as his father:
“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.
Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”
Senator Barack Obama father was from Kenya and Senator Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Obamas grandmother swears she watched him being born in Kenya. The documents the US government provided claiming Obama was born in Hawaii were proven to be fakes. Catch a clue everyone!
His father was not born in USA but his mother was. Obama was born in Hawaii so he's good to go
