Wow, that's a real legend critter! Back when we were engaged, I used to accuse my wife (then fiancee) of being possessed by Baku The Wedding Demon. Baku (my version) was drawn to crystalized carbon (diamond ring) and would possess otherwise normal and rational women, turning them into self-worshipping raving psychopaths. And once the dreaded marriage ceremony was over and done with, the girl would return to her normal self and be cured of the possession.
But just now, I found out that the name is already taken. Dang, I thought I was totally original with that. Oh well.
I suppose since the Baku is a sort of guardian in Japanese mythology, it's not going to have any pre-defined weaknesses. It just eats up nasty dreams, so it doesn't really need a weakness. You'll probably have to just write one in yourself. Hey... how about diamonds or some religious ceremony. Maybe not a wedding of course, but weddings and exorcisms aren't really that far apart. It would be cool if my invented Baku could give something to yours.
Try taking Japanese classes on Saturday. Everywhere I've been always host Japanese classes. Check out your local community center. Watching Japanese shows, dramas and anime will probably teach you the basics if you watch enough. From what people tell me, they think its easy. But when they do speak it, they announciate it weirdly do to the fact that they don't have this Japanese accent.
You are wrong, the spirits do not have any weaknesses, no one can stand to counterstand demons. In fact, only the prayers directed to God can turn them away, there is another method, believe it!-
