Beetles in Leopard gecko cage?
I have found them only once before and they are incredibly creepy. I know that meal worms can turn into beetles but I don't feed my leo them. I do feed him wax worms though. Can wax worms turn into beetles once they mature?
Update:I found them when I was cleaning out the cage so them biting at hi in no problem.
They are just a cricket sized black beetle.

waxworms actually turn into a moth. What does the beetle look like.
there can be little bug eggs in the substrate especially things like reptibark, it may be time to clean out and remove any uneaten food which will have larvae that turn into beetles
it needs to be cleaned out like ASAP or they will get at your gecko.
