Hey guys, I'm a gay male starting college very soon and was wondering how do I go abouts to handling that in college. Now im not out to anyone yet so im extremely scared and don't know what to do about it. I'm going to be surrounded by all the college boys who will be about partying sex and girls, ive played being straight very well but college seems different. Any advice from anyone or people who are going through or have gone through something like this? thanks!!

You may meet more LGBT in college than you think. It's far less common for extreme homophobia to rear its ugly head on a college campus than for LGBT students to be open with their orientations. Many students who are openly gay/bisexual do just fine.
I even have a hunch you may meet someone. :)
Don't worry about it. Focus on school, study hard, and be yourself. Many campuses have security guards on watch, so if you feel threatened, let someone know.
Being gay in college is not a big deal like it is in highschool.
The only people you should really worry about is your roommates.
They're opinions are all that really matter since you're living with them.
I wouldn't suggest joining a fraternity.
If you don't want it to be public knowledge about your sexuality,
then just keep it on the down low but you can flirt with some other boys you know are gay.
Now that you're out of the house, time to hit the gay clubs.
Honestly, in this day, if you actually made it into a university,
the last thing you should be worrying about is what other kids think of you.
Or you can just keep pretending to play straight.
Your call. (:
usally in college theres a big gay scene,,mayb yu can join it . lol idk
