Anyone own these two cars or know anyone who owns them? I just want to know their pros and cons. Never really been behind the wheels of a German car. I've always driven Japanese cars my whole life and starting to feel dull. So my question is, which is better overall between these two brands? I heard the BMW 335i is fun to drive, but the new 2015 Mercedes C class is so beautiful inside and out.

I have a Mercedes-Benz 2013 C250.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to go drive one of each. They cost about the same and they are both German. Similarity stops there. C250 is a comfortable luxury car with a sport flair where as BMW 3 series is a sport car with luxury touch.
My C250 goes quite fast but acceleration from stand-still is smooth, not aggressive, unless I really push it hard. (which I don't do). If I wanted a sport car, I wouldn't pick mine. I wanted comfort.
People compare BMW and Mercedes-Benz all day long. Being a second time owner of a Mercedes-Benz owner, there is no comparison. It's not one is better than the other. Character of the car is totally different.
In terms of reputation and reliability, they're about equal. You can research Consumer Reports online or read reviews on www.edmunds.com Which is better for you depends entirely upon personal preference. For the most part BMW's are known for their handling and if you're going to take the car on twisty canyon roads every weekend or so, you may find more pleasure with the BMW 335i. The C class Benz handles well, has power, it's smooth, but does not come in a manual transmission. No Mercedes Benz does. It may have paddle shift and quite frankly that's going to be quicker shifting than any human but traditionalist like the action of rowing the gears.
You are going to have to drive both cars and simply see which feels best to you and which suits your lifestyle needs best.
