Sure there are good dentist in Budapest too, but they are more expensive generally, just like in any other capital city, prices are higher. Go on www.hungariandentaltravel.co.uk, they have negotiated special prices to their patients and have dentist in Budapest and in the country, as well.

I just went to my local dentist here in Budapest, the prices are going up since just last year. i had two fillings, a cleaning and a small fileling done for 30,000. Around $200.USD.

She only speaks Hungarian so I would think the ones that speak English will charge more.

They are all trained well but some of the smaller places don't have all of the drills needed for the job. I went to a few strange dentists here in years past that couldn't clean my teeth because they didn't have all of the equipment.

You should be alright in the city limits.
