Can you see underwater? I have heared that this is possible and that certain ethinitys widely easily do it, for example the Moken people of Thailand. I would like to try this when I go to the pool this Saturday. Also how do people do it? Do you just get use to the blurriness or do you manage to shirk your pupiles so to can see? Does it hurt wen you do it? Do you need to blink after awhile? I don't think you need to cause there would already be water inside your eyes.
Update:Lol, I know googles exist but I meant can you see CLEARLY without them.

I just thought about it and my eyes started to sting as if I actually tried opening my eyes underwater, which when I think about it, is similar to thinking about a steak and your mouth salivating...
Yes, you can. Your eyes may sting a bit depending on the chlorine level. If you try this with contact lenses in, you will lose them.
It's just about opening your eyes underwater, and I have done it, but I wouldn't really recommend it
Best way: wear goggles then try :P
No you cannot. Because the water acts as an extension of the lens of the eye and distorts everything.
If the water is clean & clear, yes.
