I need the Realtek RTL81915 WLAN Adapter to be able to use my newer and stronger WLAN dongle. I am using the Internet right now with the weaker dongle that I had before (the one I'm using now causes the connection to disconnect and reconnect or even not connect after it has disconnected), I've tried looking everywhere for this driver, couldn't find it anywhere on Google and it doesn't have it on the Realtek website :( So I was hoping for you guys to help me find it by sending me a direct link to the driver where I can download it straight away or even recommending me a good website that specialises in Network Drivers :) (I will 5* and choose best answer for the one who successfully directs me to the driver). Thank you. :)

Normally you find relevant drivers by product name and not chipset. However, the realtek chip is fairly common and shouldn't be an issue to find a working driver.
The link below points to IOGEAR's website and to a driver that should work for you.
you didn't specify the OS so you will have to pick yours

Hi, what is the device ID for this device then I can help you.
To find it:
1) Right click My Computer goto Manage
2) Goto Device manage
3) Find the device in device manager, right click and goto properties
4) Under the details tab, click the Drop down list and select Device instance ID or Hardware ID something like this.
It will give you a string in the box below like this "PCI\VEN_1029&DEV_1293&SUBSYS....." etc etc
Just copy and paste that here and I can help you.
Try getting a better aerial, if you have a weak signal its not the adapter or the chipset its the aerial if its a desktop you can get a directional aerial to replace you standard one and get a marked increase. If you are after this chipset as its compatible with backtrack you can get it on amazon or hakshop.
