purpose:the purpose of the lab is to predict the reactions tat will occur when metals displace with corresponding solutions and provide a solid evidence to support my predictions.
i had to do a lab where metals(mg,zn, cu, sn, fe ) displace with corresponding solutions(mgso4,nso4,cuso4,sncl2,feso4)
. so magnesium reacted with ZnSo4 and CuSO4 AND feso4 and
zinc only reacted with cuso4.
copper and tin did not react with mgso4 or znso4 or cuso4 or sncl2 of feso4.
iron only reacted with cuso4.
what can you observe and learn from this lab?
why did some metals only reacted with some solutions?
what is the trend ?
im writing a conclusion and im busy studying. so i neeed to have a conclusion asap.
please help me.
if you can , someone help me write a conclusion.
restating purpose
what you learned
what are the trends
errors that can be found in the lab
changes that you want to change in the lab.
please help me, thaaanks

This is related to the reactivity series. A more reactive metal will displace a less reactive metal from its solution.
SO from the reactions you can tell that
1. Mg is more reactive than Zn, Cu and Fe
2. Zn is only more reactive than Cu
3. Sorry i dont quite understand the third statement.
4. Iron is more reactive than Cu.
Mg is the most reactive followed by Zn, Fe then Sn and Cu is the least reactive. Comparing with the reactivity series, it seems about right.
