Not at all. Why would I pay someone to undo everything I'm trying to do?
The public school system has become symbolic of almost everything that is WRONG with society. What do they learn? How to smoke, drink, curse, lie and have sex? And that's at the bus stop, before going to school!! After getting on the school bus, they learn a pecking order and learn how to fight, then when they get to school, they are taught that their grandparents are primates!
Is it any wonder they don't know any better than to shoot each other? Conversely, there has NEVER been a shooting by a homeschooler, because if there were, we'd hear about it in the news 24/7/365.
Those who worry about the "socialization" of homeschoolers have never been around homeschoolers. Homeschoolers, by and large, have good study habits, test above national averages, and make excellent college students: http://www.hslda.org/docs/nche/000000/00000017.asp
Im not a Christian parent, Buti I am instead, a son of a great pair of Christian parents. I can tell you right now that i appreciated that my parents put me in a private school for 3 years (5th-8th grade) There is a great difference between a private and public school. In the 3 years that i was in the private school i felt that all the teachers were actually there to help you out whenever you needed any help, and i enjoied learning more about my religion. In the public schools i saw that all the teachers had the same mind set, "I just have to get through this, then its off to the movies". It seemed that they were just there because they had to make money somehow. DONT GET ME WRONG THOUGH, there were some great teachers, but not that many, then again, this is just my experiance, now im a Sophmore in a public high school and its pretty great!! THAT TOOK WAY 2 LONG TO WRITE!!!!!!
The Public Schools are staffed with personnel who are properly trained to educate children in a variety of areas; this is even more important once one reaches High School, where a Masters Degree is pretty much necessary be speak with any authority on a given topic. I don't know why people complain about the "worldliness" of the Public Schools. Is it because Religion is not part of the curriculum? Or because the schools are Religion neutral? As for the Evolution thing: I was a YEC when I went through High School biology. I was a YEC after I was done with biology. It wasn't until I started studying biblical High Criticism a few months (on my own, because I was bored) later did I realize how flawed my thinking was, but it was not biology class that converted me to science. Evolution is taught more as a case study in applying the Scientific Method to data that, up until recently, was very unexplained. The Scientific Method is just a logical means of evaluating data, and you use it more often than you may realize in day to day ordinary activities. If you're worried about peer pressure, you have a duty as a parent to teach your children about the dangers of crime and drugs and the whole like. I was able to avoid all of it. The Public Schools provide invaluable experience with dealing with other people in ordinary situations, and on collaborating with others to a given goal. This social experience just cannot be replicated in a home school environment. Don't be afraid to let your kids grow up, if you raise them with love and understanding, not fear and obedience, they'll end up alright.
When my children went to school, they all went to public schools. But let's be realistic my baby is 47 years old and the schools were much better then. They were starting to get off on the wrong foot when she graduated.
The year I graduated the high school I attended was ranked 3rd in the nation ... that's when we still had some people who knew what they were doing in power.
If I had children of school age now, I would home school them. We have approximately 10-12 parents in our church who home school their children. Our pastor's three boys were all home schooled ... one is an accountant, one a college level history professor, and the youngest is following in father's footsteps and becoming a pastor. All three are well adjusted and very well educated young men.

To answer your question, where I'm from most of the teachers are pretty religious, and go to the same churches the parents do. In fact, when we learned about evolution, the bio teacher told us that he believed in God and evolution.
I have great grandchildren and my grand nieces and nephews, some of them go to Christian schools, a step great goes to a Catholic school, and another too. The others (great-grands) are too young for school.
Why not? In my experience home schooling deprives kids of a great deal of important social and emotional growth lessons...home schooling creates weird, creepy future serial killer kids who can't socialize out in the world..

Fireball your ignorance is showing!
Public schools wouldn't be so bad if they had more support from the community.
