I have a logitech mic, owned it since Feb of this year. it worked well for afew months until recently. Now my computer wants to call it a realtek (which is what my speakers are) but refuses to recognize my Logitech mic.
It is a plug in, no a usb style. Anyone know how I can get my computer to again recognize that the pink plug is in the pink slot?

ok, at first, listening to audio is not at all on the subject of your microphone. that's your speaker's jobs. you may are starting to be a disc with the microphone containing the drivers. in case you have not, you may setting up the drivers. in case you have put in the drivers contained on disc, there is drivers to be downloaded. pass to Google and characteristic a glance around Logitech's internet site. yet please observe there continues to be somewhat some hardware and utility that's unlike minded with Vista. be conscious the container and notice in the experience that your microphone is particularly like minded with Vista. look down at your taskbar for the quantity administration. actual click it and pass to regulate Audio properties, make effective the microphone is the default gadget in the two sound and voice recording. not that i'm a Vista consumer or something, however the administration Panel could have an option to alter to classic view. i'm nevertheless an XP consumer and that i've got corrected some subjects with Vista on different computers, yet i won't be in a position to be thoroughly effective. So in case you you won't be in a position to locate your way around from the training I supply you after this remark right here, do not attempt and locate it besides. in basic terms forget with regard to the subsequent set of training if it is the case. pass to regulate Panel>swap to classic View>gadget>Hardware>gadget supervisor>locate the microphone in the Sound, video and game controllers>actual click>Uninstall>action>test for hardware adjustments>you will likely see an exclamation mark the place the microphone icon was once, the gadget would be reinstalling the hardware>actual click the exclamation mark>test for hardware adjustments lower back>gadget could have reinstalled the hardware. that ought to maximum suitable suited regardless of is misguided inclusive of your microphone. If this nevertheless would not help, seek for suggestion from the instruction manual. wish it helps.
Unplug the mic. Then plug it back in again, and restart the computer. This sometimes gets the computer to recognise it as new hardware.
Go to the logitech website find your mouse and reinstall its drivers.
