All my life I have had dark, purple circles under my eyes. Allergies have apparently caused this, but no matter if I take allergy medicine or not, they still are there! Is there anyway that I could get them to go away without makeup, because I think my appearance would approve so much more if I didn't have those dark purple sags!!! Help ME!

Remedies For Dark Circles
• An instant dark circles remedy is to use the correct concealer. The shade should be lighter than your foundation. If circles are very dark, choose 2 shades lighter. Great choices can be Revlon New Complexion Concealer, Estee Lauder Smoothing Skin Concealer, Cover Girl Smoothers Concealer, or Neutrogena Smoothing Skin Stick.
• Apply a good Vitamin K cream. Vita-K Solution gel or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue help strengthen capillary walls around the dark circles to make them less visible.
• One should go for laser treatment only if the case is chronic. Lasers can increase production of collagen thereby thickening skin to make dark circles less visible.
• Home remedies for dark circles can include the following:
1. Drink plenty of water to combat dehydration.
2. Wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent more sun damage.
3. Get enough sleep.
4. Leave cold teabags, cucumber or potato slices, or washcloths with ice cubes on eyes for 15 minutes regularly.
5. Take iron supplements if anemic, but consult your doctor first.
6. Identify the allergens and avoid them. Whether it be pollen, food, whatever, avoidance is the best solution to this. And avoid rubbing your eyes.
• Hylexin is the first dark circles eye cream developed for serious dark circles. Featured in several magazines such as Marie Claire, FashionWeekDaily, The Wall Street Journal , Star and Luck.
• One of the greatest remedies for dark circles is Arbonne's NutriMinC® RE9 Repair. It’s a corrective puffiness and dark circles eye cream that does additional benefits – firming, moisturizing and repairing the delicate tissue around the eye.
i know exactly what your talking about. My friend had that a lot especially during spring time. Theres some products that can really help VISIBLY reduce the appearance of the purpleness but nothing is going to cure them. I think you should try to use clinique all about eyes. it reduces puffs and circles. I know clinique can get expensive so its better if you ask the person at the clinique counters for a free sample. By the way, if your not sure what clinique is, its a beauty counter which are usually always located in a macy's store at the mall. This stuff, got rid of my friends puffy circles in like a week and a half. She looks a lot better now. I'm pretty sure it'll work for you too. Well good luck :)
dark circles under your eyes isnt really a substance. its a vein. the skin protects your eye from the allergies by putting more blood into the vein to fight off symptons, which makes it puffer and blue because of the vein and blood working together to protect your eye.
any creams or roll pens cant completely fix it. for most people, it does nothing. use a normal face clothe and soak it under VERY cold water. as cold as you think your eyes can take it. then while its cold keep the clothe on your eyes (make sure the cothe is touching the undereye to) and leave it there for 10-15 minutes. then pat it try and put some concealer on it. make the concealer is at least 3 or 4 shades darker than the actuall skin under your eye so it matches your cheek skin tone.
The skin under the eye is thinner than the rest. Hence blood passing through veins under it gives it a blue tinge which appears as dark under eye circles.
Also the skin under the eye is more vulnerable to sun tanning than the rest of the skin on the body elsewhere.
Rubbing or scratching the eye too tends to darken the skin under it.
Medication causing the blood vessels to dilate allow increased blood flow through the veins which shows under the eyes the most, in the form of dark under eye circles.
Lack of nutrition causes discoloration of the area under the eyes.
Lack of sleep or excessive fatigue causes skin to turn pale and as it does so, the blood under the skin below eyes shows more as a dark patch than anywhere else on the body.
The same do the pregnancy and menstruation to show the dark under eye circles more pronounced than anywhere else on he body.
Age seems to sag the skin, drooping the eyelids - both upper and lower; and generating bags over there, making dark under eye circles even more pronounced.
But there is a way that not only lifts-up the drooping eyelids, removes the excess eyelid skin along with the excess fat-tissue, removes dark under eye circles, and turns back the eyelids that have gone turned-in or turned-out; but also gets a total face-lift for you without going for an anti aging eye cream or an anti wrinkle eye cream, or any surgical procedure.
Just open your eyes FULL in their TOTAL WIDTH by putting a slight smile on your lips, and you will have got it!
And then this only is the right way you should always open your eyes in while you are awake.
If you are 'really interested' in whatever you are looking at, it automatically happens so.
You open your third eye this way... you can know more about opening third eye for treating dark under eye circles at http://www.thirdeyehealth.com/dark-under-eye-circl...
There is a product by Clinique called All About Eyes, it is a cream that you apply morning and night and it reduces puffiness and dark circles around the eye. You can purchase Clinique products at fine retail stores, like the ones in the mall ( Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Burdines ) stores that carry cosmetics by the different companies.
nearly everyone has them. I have them to. Don't bother covering them up because there natural girl! Apparently it's caused by lack of sleep. Its Bull and you don't need to worry about them. If they are really worrying you go see a doc. Also cosmetics and other remedies will not work. Iv seen and tried it all. It's no use and a waste of time because like i said nearly everyone has them. It's in your genes.
Its good to use skin products and cold things under your eyes.. heres a remedy everyday you could do.

Put cucumbers or frozen tea bags on them it will make them fade away. It helps!
