Cabbage Soup Recipe - 6 large green onions - 2 green peppers - 1 or 2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole) - 3 carrots - 1 container (10 oz. Or so) Mushrooms - 1 bunch celery - 1/2 head cabbage - 1 package Lipton soup mix - 1 or 2 cubes bouillon (optional) - 1 48 oz can V8 juice (optional) Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, garlic powder, etc. Directions: 1. Slice green onions, put in pot and start to sauté with cooking spray. 2. Cut green pepper stem end off and cut in half, take seeds and membrane out. Cut the green pepper into bite size pieces and put in pot. 3. Take the outside leaves off the cabbage, cut into bite size pieces, put in pot. 4. Clean carrots cut into bite size pieces, put in pot. 5. Slice mushrooms into thick slices (otherwise they will disappear in the soup), put in pot. 6. If you would like a spicy soup, add a small amount of cayenne pepper (red pepper) now (1/3 teaspoon is quite a bit as the soup will get spicier as it cooks further). 7. You can use beef or chicken bouillon cubes for seasonings. They have all the salt and flavors you will need. 8. Use about 12 cups of water (or 8 cups and the V8 juice), cover and put heat on low. Let soup cook for a long time (two hours works well). 9. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 10. Eat all the soup you want, whenever you want for the next 7 days.

The Basic Fat Burning Soup

6 large onions

1 to 2 cans of tomatoes

1 large head of cabbage

2 green peppers

I bunch of celery

1 package of Lipton soup mix

Season with salt, pepper, curry, parsley if desired, or bullion, or hot sauce.

Cut vegetables in small to medium pieces and cover with water. Boil fast for ten minutes. Reduce to simmer and continue cooking until vegetables are tender. This soup can be eaten anytime you are hungry. Eat as much as you want, whenever you want as this soup will not add calories. The more you eat, the more you will lose. Fill a thermos in the morning if you will be away during the day. If eaten alone for an indefinite period of time, you would suffer malnutrition.

Avoid Campbell's soups, they put a lot of crap in there as filler (wheat, for instance) when they shouldn't need to. The best bet is to try making tomato or veggie soup at home. If you don't cook or don't have the time try the canned stuff at the store, but read the ingredients! You'd be amazed at some of the garbage in there. Also, look for low sodium varieties. Excess sodium will cause bloat.

3 Leeks chopped fine

4 chicken thigh fillets

about 6 cups of water and 3 stock cubes

1 large sweet potato peeled and chopped into small pieces

2 teaspoons crushed garlic

You cac replace sweet potato with normal potato but sweet is much better if you are on a diet

Boil stock and water and cut up potato until very soft. Scoop the potato out and blend.

Add the chicken to the water cook for 20 mins then remove and allow to cool before tearing into shreds. Add the Chopped leek and all other ingredients and cook for a further 15mins and serve. Season with addition herbs or spice if desired.
