I'm a thirteen year old girl, and when I stand up after sitting down for a while, I get kind of dizzy, and my vision is blurry around the edges, and I feel like I'm going to black out. And sometimes, I'll just be doing nothing out of the ordinary, and I'll get horrible headaches.
Like, today, I was sitting on the couch, playing pool on my wii against my mom, and I just all of a sudden got a horrible headache. And earlier, I got up to go get my friends mom a glass of pepsi, and when I got to the fridge, I felt really dizzy, and I felt like I was going to black out.
It's been happening really often lately, but it doesn't happen after I'm laying down then standing, only sitting then standing. Why's this?

Called orthostatic hypotension. Heart compensates very slowly in order to provide proper blood flow when standing from sitting.
YOu would need to follow up with doc who needs to assess your sit to stand blood pressure for starters. He can then persue reasons for this. Could be something as simple as low iron (responsible for RBC production, which carries oxygen to extremities and brain. When brain doesn't get enough oxygen (heart can cause this) a person feels like they are about to faint.
Do follow up with physician.
