Dodge dakota tranny changes between years?
I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota and the transmission is going bad. The transmission is a 42re. My friend has a 42re out of a 1997 Dakota. Will this transmission work in my truck? The junkyard says there is differences between the two but their both 42re. Thanks in advance
