Does stomach ultrasounds hurt?
I'm getting one today (no, I'm not pregnant) and I wanted to know if it hurt??and how long willl it take?? like what should i do??? should i eat anythig before i start ??? is it going to be scary??? sorry i hate going to the hospital and i just hope nothing is wrong with me

Ultrasound is the least invasive procedure available. Probably take 15 minutes. No, it's not scary unless you are scared to begin with. The tech puts some cold goo on your belly and uses a transducer to look inside you. Probably checking ovaries, uterus, etc. Look at the screen. It's interesting.
No it doesn't hurt at all, its just a bit gooey and if you had nerve issues it may feel a tiny bit weird , but apart from that its not scary and I'm fairly sure you don't need to fast or not eat anything special.
Does not hurt. Takes 5 mins. I think you eat drink whatever unless they tell you not to.
