Okay so I downloaded an iso file to my computer and then onto a disk. But when I put the disk in it came out as a bunch of rsd files, a pdf file, and a text file. What can I do to use this file?
An iso is a virtual disc, therefore you do not need to actually download it onto a disk. There are two programs that I use, though I will only tell you one because the other is more complicated. These programs create fake drives that your computer thinks are real, you then mount the iso file on the fake drive using your program. I'll link a download below. Instructions on how to use it should be on the website, but it is really very simple.
ISO you have to have mount it like a virtual cd using Power ISO or a similar program. Than you open the file and it makes a drive letter that can be read like a real CD. Example an installation disc for some software or game!
The software you use for burning music or a cd should have the option to burn an "image" or ISO. Just choose that option and select the iso file you are trying to burn. Depending on the software you have, you may be able to just right click the file and select "burn image". If not, just go to the burning software and do it on that.

Files with the .rsd format are database files. Without knowing *anything* else about what you downloaded, I'm not sure how to help you figure it out.
It sounds like it burned ok, though... Maybe it's a second disk for something and the rest of the files are on disk one, which you don't have?
