I just bought webhosting for one of my long-standing domain names, and thought I could use the web editor included, but all the templates are really fugly.
Unfortunately, I don't know enough about HTML coding to design a site I'm happy with without multiple hours of looking up codes. I only know enough to do some links and maybe change a background picture.
Is there a web design software that's really easy to use and free? I have Paint included in my computer and downloaded Paint.Net(Because Windows 7 has crappy paint) is there some web design download that's something like that?

You get what you pay for. None of the free web design software that I've tested have been all that great to be honest. The reason is simple, no money coming in means limited money to invest in the development process to make it half decent. I bit the bullet in the end and paid £50 for the WYSIWYG website X5 web design software about 2 years ago, which is light years ahead of all the free offerings. If you want to see what the software is capable of producing, go to my profile for my spearhead projects website, which was created with it. Mega easy to use, you don't need to know HTML programming, all written in text boxes that look kind of like Microsoft Word and all the images and videos are simple imports. Perfect for me, I'm not remotely interested in learning all that boring codey stuff, not enough hours in the day!

Google will help you find a zillion free templates.
Find one that's close and just plug in your own info.
HTML-Kit is a good editor:

Some people like Kompozer:

In either case you're going to have to do at least a bit of studying.
You can also try to use free web templates http://oheon.com/
Well there isn't really a good free website software...
