This sounds quite stupid but I was wondering about the Wiccan beliefs or laws?like i know Christians have the ten commandments and the Bible to follow, do Wiccans have anything to follow like that? What are the beliefs about death(heaven and hell?), how the world was created, things like that?
Thank you!

In Wicca your able to follow your own way of practicing. We do however have some rules that are imperative.
"An it harm none, do what thou wilt" which basically means that so long as your not harming someone, you can do what you want.
"Mind the threefold law you should, three times bad and three times good" basically means anything you send out (majik for instance) will come back to you 3-fold. Sending something good will come back to you 3 times better; and vice versa.
Here's a website you can check out: http://www.religioustolerance.org/wicrede.htm
Christianity is an exoteric and revelatory religion. It is primarily based on knowledge revealed to a few who then passed that message down to the masses.
Wicca is esoteric. The important information is gained personally, and there is no message for the masses. What is taught in books are techniques and practices that Wiccans generally find useful, as well as some very basic understandings of the world as a sort of starting point for those seeking more personal and intimate understanding.
As such, Wicca has no Bible and no set of laws.
In fact, most religions do not have those things, at least how they manifest in Christianity. The Roman gods, for example, largely didn't care how you behaved. Things like murder and stealing was the realm of the secular authority. The secular authority was understood to gain legitimacy from the favor of the gods, but the gods did not pass down the laws.
Since Wicca is a 20th century religion, it has no need of a creation story. Wiccans generally come into the religion already having an explanation of how we came to be: a scientific explanation.
Traditionally, Wiccans believe in perpetual human reincarnation. However, it's not a central tenet, since Wicca is about what happens in this life, not some future life. Repercussions are felt in the here and now. Some Wiccans believe in a place called the summerlands. I personally have no afterlife beliefs at all.
There is no heaven or hell. Again, that's primarily a Judeo-Christian belief. Most religions have a single destination for all, with perhaps a special place for a very few (such as Norse warriors go to Valhalla).
Wicca doesn't have laws, it's not a scripture-based, "by the book" revealed religion.
It's a non-dogmatic, experiential religion.
We have tenets, which include things like taking personal responsibility for oneself, finding a healthy balance in life, respecting nature (because we are part of it), etc.
Some people over-blow the "Wiccan Rede" or the "Rule of 3" into some kinds of commandment or law, but they're not--- some people take them WAY WAY WAY too literally AND they are taken out of contex and misinterpreted often-- thanks to the LLewellyn Wicca Pop books since the 1990s, and the poor websites built on their information.
But really, some Wiccans barely give the Rede or the Rule of 3 a nod, and traditionally they were not a big part of Wicca at all.
Our morality actually goes a LOT deeper than 1 ultimatum and a threat to be good. If people want to learn more about Wiccan ethics they need to look far deeper than the Rede or the Law of 3.
Wicca does not have official teachings on death-- it's a religion about how we live our lives.
Some Wiccans believe nothing happens after death; some believe in reincarnation; some believe in some kind of spirit world we call "Summerlands" where dead souls go to rest.
Heaven/Hell are not part of Wicca as we are not Christians.
We do not have anything equivalent to heaven or hell in Wicca, as the concept of eternal reward or punishment is foreign to us and does not fit our beliefs.
We do not have creation stories-- we do not take religious myths literally.
Science does a fine job in figuring out things like that and there seems absolutely no reason to dispute it.
Part of Wicca is learning to use your head (it's that experiential thing)-- observe, study, figure it out, don't accept things people or books say just because they say it, especially not when it conflicts with all logic and evidence.
The three fold law and the Wiccan Rede are the Wiccan equivalents of the Ten Commandments. The Rede is comprised of 8 simple words "An Harm It None, Do What Ye Will." Basically, it states that a Wiccan if free to practice as s/he sees fit so long as they do not harm anyone during their practices. The three fold law is a Karmic belief that states any energy/magic sent out by a Wiccan, whether malevolent or benign, will return upon her three times over. What goes around comes around, in essence.
As for creation myths and whatnot, there are none specific to Wicca to my knowledge. In fact, many Wiccans accept scientific theories such as evolution and the big bang, nor do they have a concept of heaven or hell. The Wiccan concept of the afterlife, which is known as the Summerland, is similar to the Buddhist and Hindu concepts of reincarnation. The soul is reborn many times, and when it has attained a certain level of spirituality and enlightenment it goes to rest in the Summerland.
Some (but not all) Wiccans follow the Wiccan Rede as a moral code:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiccan_Rede
There are varying beliefs about death, including a realm of the afterlife called the Summerland. Some see it as a place of rest between incarnations, but there are other views of it, as well. Not all Wiccans believe in the Summerland.
Wiccans follow a guideline called the "Wiccan Rede" which states "An it harm none, do as thou will". It does NOT say do not harm, but it says to be mindful of actions that may cause harm, and that you may participate in as many harmLESS actions as you wish.
Many Wiccans also believe in the "Threefold Law". However, many people naively think it means that whatever you send out returns to you times three, however this kind of thinking makes no sense, because for every action there is an **equal** and **opposite** reaction, so whatever is sent out returns at the same rate as it was sent. But...most who believe in this "threefold law" don't naively think this way, but see this "law" as meaning returning in three ways (mentally, physically, and spiritually) or on three planes of existence.
They don't believe in any sort of absolute rule, ruling throughout the entire religion...they determine that practitioners are adult and can monitor themselves, hence their stressing "Personal Responsibility".
I don't know about their beliefs about heaven and hell, but they DO believe in The Golden Rule. And if you do something bad or mean, it will come back at you threefold. As long as what you do harms nobody, then do as you choose. You will find the Wiccan Rede (advice, guidelines, not rules) here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiccan_Rede
they respect nature.
That is everything I know xp haha
God bless
