engine swap on an 88 first gen s10?
I need peoples opinions on a project that im planning on doing. I want to swap out the original v6 engine with a 350 small block. Would i be able to do this without any fabrication of the engine bay and motor mounts?

they make a kit called "engine swap in a box" it comes with everything you need except a fan and motor.
by just looking at this kit online you will see what you need for the swap.
PS, dont go with a 350. drop a 383 in that bad boy!
Yes it's possible but you'll need to make some modifications to the radiator due to limited space issues. Install an electric cooling fan as opposed to the mechanical one. Also the front suspension or at least the coil springs should be replaced with heavier duty ones. Good luck and hope this helps.
