My friend thinks she may have had a miscarriage about a week ago. She doesnt want anyone to ever know about it and is wondering if there is any physical evidence to ever having the miscarriage, currently, shes physically back to normal, just depressed mentally. Her symptoms were abdominal pain, then lower back pain, then bleeding but we knw it wasnt from her period, we are pretty sure it was a miscarriage, but the pregnancy wasnt far along, mayb about 3 weeks, and then the abdominal pain started and the bleeding and stuff, the main question is if there is any physical evidence after a miscarriage, and we know that she should see a doctor and stuff, pleaseplease just answer our question, Thanks so much
Update:we are both under the age of 18, which eplains why she doenst want anyone to know about it and we are avoiding seeing a doctor at all cost, it doesnt seem like she needs one tho

The only way to tell for sure is to go to a doctor and have your blood tested for hormone levels, most pediatricians give time for teens to talk privately without parent present, my kids doctor always kicks me out of the room to chat in private, at every visit, and its exactly for this reason, so a kid gets the care they need, even when it something they don't want to share with their parents. It's important to check this out incase there is a blood type incompatibility which would require medication so you don't have miscarriages in the future. Also if this person is going to continue to be sexually active without a condom, she is going to need to go to a gyn, on a very regular basis for disease screening, it only takes one time to get pregnant, and one time to pick up HIV, hepatitis, HPV, that her partner may not even know he has
To make sure was really miscarriage you need to consult your doctor to examine if there are any signs of miscarriage like changes in cervix and blood.
