Heyy ! i have braces and i have a palatal expander , it leaves a mark on my tounge , and i was just wondering .. when i get it off in like 1 year will the mark be permanent
i had a palate expander for 6 months and when they took it out the marks went away. so yes you won't have an imprint on your tongue after you get it out.

your tounge heals itself pretty quickly so i would think not
