can you replace a engine in a 91 nissian pathfinder with a 1997 ford 503 engine?
Update:cost wise other then the motor what would i be looking at with the 302? what all would i have to do to make it fit?

I will say with sufficient effort and creativity, it would be possible to make any engine fit in any car or truck, but in the case you are describing, the word "easily" does not fit.
Measure the width of the engine. Measure the space between your inner fenders. Will a 503 fit between your fenders? If not can you cut some notches or cut or bend the fenders out to make room for the engine to fit?
This is just an example, but there would be plenty of work that will require skill with a torch and welding, you'll need to be able to cut away Nissan junk that is in the way, and then weld in Ford motor mounts, Ford Transmission mounts and probably plenty of other Ford bits you may need to transplant with the engine.
It may be simpler to sell your Pathfinder and get a Ford Bronco that will easily hold a 503.
