GED Advantages and Disadvantages?
Alright I got pulled from school a month of starting ninth grade.
I was raped and couldn't handle the huge pressure from school.
Also I have had less then four years of actual education I basically taught my self what I could from old books and the library. I'm sixteen years old and tried the home-school thing I dont have time to go back and get all my credits. My friends keep telling me its a super bad idea. I just want to be an Xray tech nothing huge or anything.
Please tell me the Real advantages and disadvantages please! =)

Everyone looks down on GEDs. Not even the military will accept them anymore. You won't become an XRay Tech with only a GED. PLus, who knows, in two years you may not want to be one anymore. People change their minds about what they want to do all the time.
Every employer wants to see HS Diploma.
Take my advice, get your diploma. Look again into homeschooling or alternative schools (Classes range from 2-10 people)
