gender accuracy at 18 week 4d ultrasound?
Hi girls!
So I am going for a 4d ultrasound at 18 weeks 3 days (My birthday!) to try and find out the babies gender. Does anyone know how accurate it will be on 4d then? I really want to find out on my birthday and I'm afraid it will be a little too early.

On 4D ultrasound you can see everything. They are amazing and you should be able to tell what you are having. Good Luck and Happy Birthday
I have two boys and I found out the sex of both of them around 20-22 weeks. The good thing about 3D and 4D ultrasounds are that you can see things a little better. So it most likely be pretty accurate.

Should be pretty accurate unless the baby isn't in a good position (which can happen at anytime) Saw my little guy clear as day and I am not in the medical field. Looked like a little turtle b/c she got a between the leg shot.
I found out at 19wks on a regular Ultrasound machine, you can find out as early as 15wks but they recommend at least 18wks..My guess is at 18wks on a 4d you have even better chances than on a reg. US..

16-18 weeks is the normal for finding the sex of the baby. I've had 3 children. I'm pretty sure that i was about 17 weeks with each of them when I found out their sex. Congrats!!
I had a normal scan at 18wks, not 4D but they told me it was a boy. They were a little apprehensive to tell me because they didn't want to be wrong, but they were right!
VERY ACCURATE!!! I had 3d at 15.5 weeks and have had several ultrasound since than, and yes its still a boy for me!! :) Congratulations!
