why the hell is it that when i play campaign, forge, custom or firefight my friend (2nd player) is getting way more cR them me Evan tho our kdr is very close, he has a lot of medals, i get a lot of medals so why is it that my cR is always at 50 and his can go to 1046 ?
he is also at the rank with a V for a symbl (im thinkingSargentt) while im only at the 2nd rank in the game
evean with a custom game with two of my friends (this is all offline btw) they both get 1k and i still get 50 evean tho i am the MVP ??
Update:all great answers, the one wierd thing i have to say is that, 3 people, (me ans my 2 friends) started playing all at once, are they all live ? yes, was it local ? yes, online ? no we play'd one game and they level'd up but i did not, but when i fist started reach i got 7k cR while they got 5k, could that have anything to do with it ?

This was frustrating the hell out of me too, and here is what I believe is happening:
Bungie wants to prevent boosting by limiting the amount of credits you can earn while playing offline. My profile is an XBOX LIVE profile, and my roommate's profile is not. He earns around 1000-1500 credits per match, and I only earn 50.
If your profile is not an XBOX LIVE profile, I believe you will not earn many credits while playing offline. Pretty stupid system in my opinion, and I hope Bungie fixes this by developing a better system to award credit to XBOX LIVE accounts that also play offline.
Not really an answer but I'm pretty sure Zach is on to something. That's exactly what's happening to me. Going to try to Xbox Live accounts and see if it happens the same way.
Your playing offline is my guess. Online offers balance to credit system, I'm not sure why offline is like that for you.
Maybe it's--like you said--rank. More cR for more play. Motivation to keep gaming.
