hids drain my battery?
i just installed my 8000k xentec xenons hids in my 1998 dodge neon i have black projector headlights that i put them in they worked for maybe 30mins then started flickering and (there was a clicking nose when it was flickering) and turned off and then my battery was completly dead what can i do the get them to work right what caused this
Update:so i need a relay cause i just hooked it up to the stock headlights with no new relay

you probably got the relay wired in to remain hot all the time and that will cause a dead draw on the battery, that or the light switch that their wired to shorted out on it,that will drain the battery also,if i was you id go back and take everything loose and start over on the wiring of it,if you wired those so that they work off the original relay its over loaded it and shorted it out,my nephew did the same thing when wiring his in on his neon,it only took 20 minutes to kill his battery though,good luck with it.
