How do you add different names for different data sets in a legend on a MSFT Excel chart?
I have 6 different data series on one chart in MSFT Excel. In the legend each data series is named Series 1, Series 2, Etc. I want to designate a unique name for each data series. I can click on a data point, select Source Data and then type in a Name under the Series tab, but it only allows one name for all the data sets. Please help.

the easiest way would be to label your columns or rows at the top before you plot the graph.
eg. i have data in 2 columns. rename column 2 as concentration. rename column 3 as density.
the graph would be vs time. so I have a column 1 renamed as time.
