Ever since the recent Yahoo Groups changes the ability to search messages for keywords seems to have disappeared, or am I going blind?
I run a disease support group for a disease which typically kills people in 3 - 5 years, so there is a constant turnaround in membership with new people added all the time. It is EXTREMELY important for them to be able to search all the existing posts to see how people who have now passed on handled various situations they are now facing.
If that facility has now disappeared as it seems to have, or become difficult to find which is another possibility, then Yahoo has destroyed half the purpose of our group!!

You can still search for a keyword or name in a particular group. You're not going blind. It's just been designed in a very confusing way.
The "Search Groups" button works not only to browse all groups, but when you're WITHIN ONE GROUP, then it works to search messages in that particular group. This, of course, makes no sense but that's the way the new format is made.
To search your group with a keyword or a person's name, use the space next to the 'Search Groups' button when you're WITHIN the specific group, so click on the name of your group first. This button is above the photo for your group. Type in the word, then click the 'Search Groups' button. Messages with that word will come up.
Also, you'll then see a NEW button for 'Advanced Search.' So, at that point, you can type both the key word and the name of the person who wrote the message if you're wanting a specific post.
To search by number, click on the magnifying glass icon at the top of the list of messages when you're in 'Conversations.'
