So I was running on my treadmill for 15 min straight at 5 miles per hour. My goal is to run a mile or more, that's what my field hockey coach is telling us to do before season. I'm 13 and I'm 5'2" and 145 pounds. Do you know if I ran past a mile or not? Thanks(:

I think 5mph for your age is a bit too high. Try running at 4mph for 15 minutes instead. You'll do exactly 1 mile this way but if you want to build up more endurance, which you'll obviously need to play field hockey, go for 4mph for 20 minutes instead. You'll end up running a mile and a third this way.
Oh and BTW you ran 1.25 miles.

do the math in 15 minutes at 5 mph you're running five MILES PER HOUR so 15 minutes is about a quarter hour so 5 divided by 4 is 1.25 miles....I HOPE i did that math right....:) so yeah you did
